Amazing art by 8-year-old artist Owen Guarino.

Remember Martha, the 9-year-old blogger? Well, meet Owen, the 8-year-old artist!

The Washington Post calls him a genius (nice one, Owen!) and looking at his work it’s easy to understand why.

His drawings look like this:

All pictures via Owen Guarino’s Facebook page.

Owen’s subjects are varied: the jungle, the sea, his school, and – yes!- even superheroes. As his parents say, “he would rather draw than do just about anything else.”

He’s sure got talent, and we believe most kids do too!

Send us the drawings your kids make this summer (at hello[at]timbuktu[dot]me): we want to create the most wonderful gallery of art by our fabulous readers!
